Mindful Moments with God
Mindfulness means being present and paying attention to life as you live it. Master your attitude, count your blessings, and revel in the beauty of each passing moment. Incorporate mindfulness into your daily routine, and watch as it transforms you into a calmer, happier, and healthier person.
Live in the present moment with open arms and embark on a transformative journey toward deeper well-being, inner peace, and spiritual fulfillment. Being mindful will strengthen your prayer life and deepen your connection with God.
As you commune with God in quiet reverence, remember that within you resides the power to manifest the dreams that God has planted in your heart. Savour the divine wisdom found within the pages of the Bible, allowing its timeless teachings to bring you guidance, peace, and comfort. God’s plan for your life is good; listen closely and trust in it. Feel the goodness that surrounds you, enjoy everyday blessings, and extract joy from each moment.
Your breath—the very essence of life—holds immense power. Breathe in deeply, exhale slowly, and quiet the mental noise. With each mindful breath, relax your body, release stress and anxiety, and feel yourself becoming calmer and more attentive.
Take a moment to slow down and be present as you pray, read Scriptures, and spend time with God. Breathe in deeply and breathe out slowly. Focus on these mindful moments and allow God to bless you and give you peace.
‘May the Lord bless you and protect you.
May the Lord smile on you and be gracious to you.
May the Lord show you his favor and give you his peace.’
Numbers 6:24-26 NLT
A Dose of Calm – Let’s Pray 🙏
A Prayer for Restful Sleep
May this prayer wrap around you like a soft blanket, bringing sweet dreams and restful sleep. Let the noise of the day fade away as you focus on this bedtime prayer.
Dear God, as we lay down to sleep, please quiet our worries and calm our restless minds. Comfort us with Your loving presence and keep us safe. Wrap Your healing arms around us and take away any pain and discomfort. Grant us the serenity to rest deeply, waking in the morning feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. We pray this in the loving name of Jesus. Amen.
Scripture for a Restful Sleep
In peace I will lie down and sleep,
for you alone, Lord,
make me dwell in safety.
Psalm 4:8 NIV
